Concept Design

Upon completion of the planning phase, a preliminary design of the MIZUTech plant will bemconceptualised based on the reaction pathway. It will represent the general flow of the plant and processes without the detailed engineering reference. Each design will be unique to the client and can offer various different end products and integrations.

Conceptual Example 1

Bio-Coal and Bio-Crude Production through continuous flow MIZUTech HTC Treatment

A process flow example of a continuous hydrothermal carbonization treatment facility that produces high HHV bio-coal and residual bio-crude that can be further treated using a catalytic reactor to produce bio-oil.

Conceptual Example 2

Bio-Ethanol Production from Lignocellulosic Biomass

A process flow example of the conversion of lignocellulosic biomass to bio-ethanol using combination of MIZUTech HTC technology and fermentation and purification to produce bioethanol. This system can be integrated with a CHP unit for energy recovery and re-utilization.

Bio-Gas Production from Food Manufacturing Facility

A process flow concept of the conversion of food and fruit manufacturing wastes into bio-gas and nutrient rich liquid product. This process uses a combination of MIZUTech HTC treatment and accelerated anaerobic digestion that is able to reduce retention time from 40 days to 5.

P & ID And M&E Drawing

Plan better. Build better.

Shintech Engineering supports P&ID and M&E drawings of the conceptualised plant that will include all equipment, components and control systems that will be implemented in the plant. This detailed drawing will provide the client a clear understanding of the actual mechanical and electrical layout, and process flow with supporting technical data involving the operating conditions.

Detailed Engineering

This will encompass the final engineering stage that will be signed off by the client and passed on to the contractors to construct the plant. A detailed engineering will include the calculations and real dimensions of the system that will serve to provide a clear picture of the material and energy flow, layout, connections, PLC system, fluid pattern, C&S design etc.
